Nick Rhodes162 viewsIf a competition was held to find the coolest dude in the music business, Nick, Robert Palmer and Bryan Ferry would tie for first place. Even though Robert is no longer with us.Mar 26, 2008

Synth & Sequencer Session141 viewsThis was a quite amazing bit of the show. The only song I remember from this segment is "All She Wants Is". All four band members front and centre, Nick and John (And occasionally, Simon) with keyboard synths, Roger with a percussion synth. There was also a sequencer going, run by a technician at side of stage, who made a few screw-ups.Mar 26, 2008

Goodbye131 viewsSimon makes sure that he hasn't scuffed the shine off his shoes during the concert, while John and Roger engage in a slapping session. Nick, as always, remains aloof from the horseplay.Mar 26, 2008

Hanmer Horses206 viewsWe went for a three hour ride through the bush near Hanmer. Lou had Shar, I had Katie. Shar is a very docile girl, Katie is a bit of a prima donna, and did not like any other horse being near her. She is lovely to ride, though, and very easy to get the rhythm of in the rising trot. De Haviland Vampire231 viewsOne of my favourite jet fighters (Along with the Me262). These were used back in the days when New Zealand actually had an airforce. Since then, our lefty dictator, comrade Helen, has decreed that we don't need strike aircraft, and the former RNZAF Skyhawks sit in open storage, slowly rotting away.
